A fantastic end of season event taking in many of the stunning climbs and descents familiar from our spring cycling camps. As Autumn approaches in the UK this is a great chance to get away and enjoy some riding in summer temperatures!

We will spend the start of the week training in the area and sampling some of the climbs and descents used in the Gran Fondo. With video footage and expert coaching you can hone your skills before the ride itself!

What to expect

A challenging route through breathtaking scenery described by the organisers as 'tu infierno en el paraiso' or, 'your hell in paradise'. While hell might be a bit harsh, with 3050m climbed over the 136km course and a trip to Spain's highest village the 900 riders really earn their finishing prize of a local ham.

Itinerary
Monday

Arrive and settle into the hotel before a short leg-loosener spin.
Tuesday

A 3 hour ride taking in the start and end of the Gran Fondo route.
Wednesday

A slightly longer ride to cover the middle portion of Saturday's ride.
Thursday

A ride to the Costa Tropical with a lunch stop by the sea.
Friday

A leisurely spin to the neighbouring start town of Lanjaron to register and collect your numbers for tomorrow.
Saturday

The hotel will lay on an early breakfast before the main event.
Sunday

A relaxed spin or a longer ride if you prefer before packing up ready for the flight home.

What's included

All the features of our Spring training camps plus your entry to the Gran Fondo including three feed stations with liquid and solid supplies, baggage transport to the start/finish, optional bike hire can be arranged for stress free travel.

Due to the current uncertainty prices are in Euros, you can still pay in Sterling at the exchange rate at that time. Please contact us to confirm current price in Sterling.

Unlike some camps we offer everything you need for a fantastic trip to the sun including meals and airport transfers from Malaga airport. If you do not require airport transfer the price can be reduced by €50. Please check before booking your flights so we can ensure that the flight times work with the transfers as individual transfers will incur a supplement.
